Tenafly, New Jersey is a thriving community in Bergen County with approximately 14,100 residents. Tenafly is a predominately residential community with a size of approximately 5.2 square miles. Founded in 1894, the borough is governed by a mayor and six-member council.

There is also the Roosevelt Commons which contains 10 acres, a pond, and the historic Theodore Roosevelt Monument. There are also several diverse houses of worship and a vibrant but contained business district.
The Tenafly Public School District is excellent and is comprised of four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Tenafly High School is ranked among the best in the state and offers numerous advanced classes. Almost 90% of graduating students enroll in a 4-year college program.
